Core Values

At Honeycomb Home Design, we stand by these core values in every relationship we encounter.

Communication

The key to any successful relationship is communication. As you can imagine, there are many moving parts in a construction project. Our goal is to communicate clearly and as often as possible with you throughout the process, so we can make sure nothing is kept in the dark! Oftentimes, we will collaborate with our clients on ideas (after all, it is your home!) and we can do this successfully through clear communication.

Integrity

We will do what we say we're going to do, when we say we're going to do it. Now say that 3x fast! If for some reason we can not commit to our promise, we will notify you right away and set a new one.

Giving Back

Our community means everything to us. Throughout the year, we actively support and donate to various causes throughout our community. We also have started the Honeycomb Gives Back Initiative, which is geared towards providing room makeovers for children with special needs.

Dedication

When we are on your project, we are giving it our all. From planning, to concept boards, to creativity and ingenuity, to being there when the paint dries and art is hung, we are dedicated to making this experience the best possible one for you.

Emily Ladeairous

Lead Designer

Emily is a Lead Designer at Honeycomb and wholeheartedly believes in the massive role an intentional and personalized space plays in living your best life. She can usually be found traveling, cooking, or taking photos when she’s not designing for Honeycomb! It was after graduating from California Polytechnic State University with an architecture degree and working in multiple firms that Emily discovered interior design was where her passion lied. Having the privilege to reimagine someone’s living space and transform it into an effortlessly functional and beautifully personal sanctuary is what she loves so much about being a part of Honeycomb Home Design. Emily believes design is so much more than decorating, it is making the conscious choice of creating an experience every day to choose your most calming, freeing, and inspired life. Everyone’s home should feel like a retreat and Emily can’t wait to be an integral part of bringing your vision to reality!

She sees the value in working one-on-one to create curated spaces that are tailored to each client’s needs. Innovation and problem solving are her strengths, whether it be designing under varying budgets or timeframes, she doesn’t shy away from a challenge.

Lindsey Lopez

Procurement Specialist, Office and HR Manager

She was born and raised on the Central Coast and moved to San Francisco to pursue her dreams of working in the fashion industry. After a few short years in SF, she was recruited by Christian Dior for a role at their Flagship location in New York City. What she thought was going to be a quick 5 years lead to nearly 20 years in NYC. She worked with some of the top designer brands all while managing various roles; from buying, merchandising and forecasting to sales, management and fashion show production. Towards the end of her tenure in NYC she started styling photo shoots for clients, often in their homes, and was introduced to the world of interior design. “I had been dressing clients for so long, to refocus on styling their homes in addition to their personal look seemed to go hand in hand.”

In 2020 she decided to take a break from the city life with her two kids and tap into the SLO lifestyle on the Central Coast where she continued to pursue her own start-up and entrepreneurial feats but craved the camaraderie and industry lifestyle. Once she discovered Honeycomb she knew she wanted to leverage her skill set and work amongst a team of creatives who set out to inspire her daily.

Outside of Honeycomb you can find Lindsey playing with her kids at the beach, hiking local trails, snowboarding in Tahoe, and working on various entrepreneurial projects.

Steve has called Cayucos, CA his home for 18 years.  When not working, you will find him painting another masterpiece, kayaking in the bay or walking on the beach with his dog and best buddy, Max.

Cabinetry Team

Jill Boaz

Jill started designing kitchens in Boston for the luxury cabinet manufacturer SieMatic before moving to the Central Coast. She continues to use her mathematical, problem-solving and creative skills to oversee every detail of your cabinet order. She enjoys consulting with clients about their kitchen needs and seeing their new space come to life.

When you’re working on a cabinetry project with us, Jill is your cabinetry guru! Once your space is designed and signed off, Jill will take over to ensure your cabinetry meets the specifications of your appliances, fixtures and job site.

Jill has two middle school boys, and when she and her husband are not kayaking, backpacking or playing ping pong with the family, she can be found running the trails throughout Montana de Oro.

Reanna Janowicz

Cabinetry Specialist

With almost 8 years experience owning and running her own small business, Ariana knew Reanna would be an asset to the Honeycomb Team. The two of them went to Business school together and then worked for a manufacturing company. During that time, Reanna was in Sales and Ariana in Design. Now, 10 years later they’re in similar roles on a greater scale. You’ll meet Reanna when you’re looking to order cabinetry. She’ll be there to hold your hand through layout, measure confirmation, and install. When she’s not coordinating cabinetry she’s herding her two boys through life. You’ll find her at the baseball field with coffee in hand.
